Per/Post Surgery Series

First 2 Weeks:

During the first 2 weeks, you will have 2 visits per week, consisting of 30 minutes of Lymphatic Drainage massage. This gentle massage technique helps flush the lymphatic system, assisting the body in eliminating toxins and debris that may not be moving properly. The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in the body's filtration and immune system, making it ideal for pre or post-surgical support to enhance healing.

Next 2 Weeks:

The following 2 weeks will include biweekly massages (4 massages in total), with each session split between 1/2 Lymphatic Drainage and 1/2 Myofascial Release Massage (MFR). Myofascial Release allows the release of connective tissue that wraps around your muscles, tissues, and bones, connecting them all together. This web of connective tissue can lead to adhesions, thick scars, and chronic pain. Preventative and post-injury MFR treatments can increase mobility, promote healing, decrease scarring, and even breakdown old scars or adhesions.

Final 4 Weeks:

The last 4 weeks of the series will consist of 1 massage per week. These sessions will continue to include Lymphatic Drainage to flush the lymphatic system and Myofascial Release to support ongoing healing. Additionally, we may incorporate unwinding or Fascia Kinetics techniques if needed to increase mobility and address any other areas of discomfort. Fascia Kinetics is a mobilizing technique designed to address areas of tightness.
